We have been planning this retreat for a while. Dreaming of creating a space where likeminded women can come together & take the time that they deserve for themselves, a full week of relaxation & rejuvenation.
Our luxury retreat centre is nestled in our own private bay on the island of Evia, Greece, with direct access to clear turquoise waters, a beautiful yoga shala with a view over the bay, a swimming pool, private chef to create us organic and delicious Greek cuisine daily & beautiful sea view rooms.
We will vary our yoga classes, breathwork, meditation sessions & workshops throughout the retreat to compliment your day.

Eretria, Greece 16th - 23rd June 2024
Have a passion for Cycling? Enjoy nourishing your body with movement? Love delicious food in a warm, sunny relaxing environment? Greek Cycle Holidays aim to combine all these aspects in a holiday to remember.
With an average of 250 days a year sunshine, varied mountainous terrain, alpine forests and a seemingly endless coastline, Greece really is an ideal destination for Cyclists all year round.
A TYPICAL DAY
As with all our weeks, the itinerary will be flexible and likely to change day to day.
Each day will include two yoga sessions, one in the morning and one in the evening (Hatha, Vinyasa and Yin based) with a primary focus on strengthening the core and back, and bringing openness and flexibility to the hips, chest and shoulders. Sessions will include Pranayama (breath work and techniques) to help improve lung capacity and to aid recovery as you progress with your cycling.
Sandwiched between the Yoga sessions you will get the chance to explore the island on 2 wheels on one of our multitude of routes. Visit remote mountain villages or cycle along the coast for a coffee, expect to cycle for 3 – 5 hours depending on how you are feeling.
Expect at least one designated rest day to spend at your leisure.
Where
Evia is the second largest island in Greece. Athens, the Greek capital is only an hours drive away. With a small population it is not hard to escape the crowds!
The villa is located 1.5km from the centre of Eretria, one of Greece’s most ancient towns, with evidence of human activity as early as the Neolithic period (3500-3000 BC) found on the Acropolis as well as in the surrounding areas.
Whether you are a serious cyclist wanting some strenuous training in the mountains (the island tops out at 1743m), or prefer to do some more leisurely riding and take in the numerous sights and attractions Evia has to offer, then this is a holiday for you.
With rugged barren mountains, lush forests, km’s of coastline, wonderful beaches, a pleasant climate, ancient monuments and traditional Greek villages, there is a lot to enjoy about Evia
Accommodation
Your home for the week is the GCH Villa, spacious and equipped with everything you need for a relaxing time. The villa comfortably sleeps 8 people in 4 twin rooms and 2 bathrooms.
With a spacious living room and kitchen, there is ample space to be comfortable. As with traditional Greek life most of the time is spent outdoors and the GCH Villa has fantastic outdoor space and the dedicated BBQ & bar area is ideal for relaxing on an evening and into the night. For those that enjoy a cool beer the bar Is equipped with a draft beer chiller. Especially refreshing in a frozen glass!
At the bottom of the garden you will find tranquillity in our relaxation area, recover from your day with gentle yoga and a soak in the hot tub.

The Food
Chef and Owner Steven has been cooking in some of London and Athens top kitchens for over 20 years.
As all the food is home cooked from fresh ingredients and dietary requirements will be accommodated.
On retreat, the food will be mainly vegetarian and vegan. There will be meat and dairy options available, however, we would like to suggest that this week would be a good introduction to allowing your body and mind to sample the benefits of a meat free diet.
Yoga philosophy encourages a vegetarian diet. There is plenty of medical evidence indicating that a balanced vegetarian diet is extremely healthy. A diet rich in plant based foods supplies the body with the proteins, minerals and vitamins it needs.
A sattvic diet, a diet free from meat and high in fruits, vegetables, grains, legumes, and nuts, calms the mind and the body. Yoga philosophy teaches the concept of ahimsa, or non-violence. Yogis believe if you eat natural plant based foods that are high in nutritional value and easily used by the body, the delicate internal balance can remain in check. And that balance will extend to the mind. If the body is out of whack, the mind will struggle to remain calm and emotions can become easily unsettled.

Eretria is approx 1 hour drive Athens Airport with a short 15 minute ferry. We will be there to collect you at Arrivals.
There are regular flights throughout the year from the UK.Low-cost Airlines; Wizz Air (Luton), RyanAir (Stansted and Dublin) and EasyJet (Gatwick, Manchester and Edinburgh) all fly regularly into Athens.
Other options include Olympic and Aegean from Gatwick and Heathrow as well as Jet2 from Birmingham and Bristol

Be guided through vinyasa yoga flow, breathwork and relaxation so that you can connect to yourself, feel your aliveness and receive nourishing rest.
Society may tell us that we need more, but when we take a pause to check in with ourselves, we can create the space to receive the medicine of the present moment and the knowing that we are enough.

We start with.... CACAO CEREMONY ✨
The first thing to do when entering a ceremony is to leave all your expectations at the door. Return to the blank canvas of your pure being, where your heart and mind are wide open.
Ceremonial cacao has been used for centuries and is a beautiful heart opening plant medicine that is full of nutritional benefits and has more antioxidants than any other food on the planet.
Drinking cacao helps you to connect and open your heart. In many spiritual traditions, the heart is seen as the centre of our being, the place where our truest self resides. The cacao we will drink is ceremonial grade and is grown and harvested in Peru, from the Ashaninka families.The variety is Criollo and no pesticides or chemical fertilisers are used by the growers and they all follow organic farming practices. Peru is world renowned for it’s quality flavour Cacao.
Cacao opens the gateway to the sacred heart space and assists us in releasing fear, insecurity and guilt which clears the lower chakras, facilitating a deeply grounding connection to Mother Earth.
(Herbal tea blend will be available for those that would rather not drink cacao)

Sharnelle will guide you through a conscious dance practice called Flow Dnace Meditation using silent disco headphones. Anyone can do this movement meditation practice so no previous experience is needed.
This practice is a way of exploring meditation in a dynamic fun new way. The class is an un-choreographed, conscious dance meditation practice, which encourages self-expression and discovery.
The practice helps you to explore and express how you feel through movement. You don’t have to learn any steps and there’s no pressure to perform, making it easier to relax, allowing the body and mind to get into a state of flow.
MEDITATION hits the dance floor. CONNECT deeply with yourself. MOVE & shift your energy. RELEASE what isn’t serving you & find your unique flow.
